All that I can remember about the dream is that my little nephew (almost 2 years old) is with me at my house. We're outside near the pool and the weather isn't summer, but more autumn. The weather isn't cool either but very hot, but all the plants are brown, yellow, and red. We aren't swimming though. The water isn't completely clear, but more murky. Anyways, there are sharks and dolphins in the pool. My little nephew falls in the pool, and of course I freak out and jump in to get him out. The sharks and dolphins are everywhere. I can feel them brushing against me as I try to get to my nephew, but I can't get a grip on him. Everytime I almost get him, a dolphin bumps into me, making me lose my grip. Also, the sharks come at me with their mouths open. I keep pushing the sharks away with my hands. I'm trying like mad to get my baby nephew out, but I can't, and I finally wake up. I have had this dream many times. Is it significant?

Your life is totally out of control. Nothing makes sense. You are at a turning point in your life. Sharks and dolphins do not swim together. Autumn is not hot. Your nephew is yourself. You cannot get a grip on yourself. Where are you heading? I get the feeling that you have no purpose in your life. You do not have any goals, and whenever you try to plan your life something always comes along to stop it happening. A two year old child is dependant on everyone else for their survivial and I am wondering if you are feeling smothered by parents/boyfriends, etc. Do you feel in control of your life, or do you think that everyone and everything around you controls your destiny?

It is a really messed up dream, its all out of sinc, and dreams are really your subconsious trying to tell you something. Very rarely are they prophetic, so I dont think anything is going to happen to your nephew. Dolphins are supposed to help, but they keep on stopping you. You cannot push a shark away with your hand and like I said, they dont swim together. Everything in your dream is opposite to what really happens in the real world and it tells me you need to start concentrating on yourself and your own happiness and stop taking the feelings of others into account. I bet you consider the feelings of others more than you do your own feelings. You probably are in a situation you feel you have no control over. Once you can start to think about yourself exclusively...what you want, what you need to do for yourself to succeed and make you happy, and forget to try to make other people happy, maybe then you will start to feel in control of your life because at the moment you feel you have no control

Everyone has personal power. Everyone has the power to change their lives. You were born equal to everyone else and you have to stop thinking about other people more than you think about yourself. Once you can see yourself as important and concentrate on what you want....start to see a future for yourself, start to envisage goals and how to achieve them, then maybe those dreams will stop. It is not selfish to consider your own needs wants and dreams. The people around you will survive quite happily without you feeling you have to help them out all the time. Start saying "no" when people want something from you. Start seeing yourself and your life as important......actually more important than what other people expect of you. If you are in an abusive family/relationship, then it is time to seek out some professional help. It is such a vivid dream and usually the majority of us do not remember our dreams as clearly as the one you describe. It is a pretty desperate and depressing dream, but it is only reflecting what is going on in your life.

Perhaps you have some problems/conflicts in your life that is keeping u away from doing what u want to do. The problems seem to always keep u away from doing what u want to do. The sharks and dolphins might symbolize those problems. The sharks are the ones that look the worst, but are just superficial and give u no harm. However, the dolphins are what really keep u away from your goal and they are the innocent looking problems that u have to look arefully for.

Your murky water signifies difficulties. The swimming signifies hidden hostility around you. The sharks also signify dishonest friends or associate and to be cautious of all financial matters. But the dolphins are a sign of mental savy. Which means that you may outsmart the dishonest foe. Your signifies help when needed. Good Luck

You obviously feel very protective of your nephew. The murkiness may be saying that you arent even sure what you are afraid of. Do you think there may be an issue with his home life? If not, its reasonable to unreasonable worries for someone young that you feel protective of.

PS: I had similar dreams of my little cousin turning into an egg and me trying to desperately get him off of a rollar coaster.

have you seen a shark movie or FLipper? usually dreams come to us because we watched something and our brains remember at night but since you said you've had it for a while, then the murky water is bad... sharks is bad dophins would be communication... searching for nephew would be searching maybe in your family or in your mind something is maybe missing... the weather is calm its fine so maybe you are experiencing a time of mellowness, nothing really is happening to you that is why you are searching for this something becuase it could be that you are searching for love affection or maybe your brain knows you lost an item and its telling you to find it in real life.. there are so many ways to interpret it man. ...

I think that it is that you recognize that taking care of him and making him safe is important and on the back of your mind. You aren't his keeper, he should have a parent? Do your best to watch out for him as he grows.
