The short end of the stick? Earlier on here, a girl/woman posted the following "I always like feeling smarter than a man."
It sounds pretty innocuous (for the guys, it means tame or harmless. I'll get back to this later), right? Now what if a man had posted:
"I always like feeling smarter than a woman." Sounds a lot worse, wouldn't you agree? Why is that? You can bet your bippy that if each of those two statements were posted anywhere, there's an excellent chance that the one denigrating women would get a lot more responses and more of them vicious. Why is that?
The pendulum has swung too far.
As for my little aside to the guys, such things are often laughed off. Had I addressed it to the ladies, instead, I might have been eviscerated (gals, that means taking the guts out, gutted). LOL
What was my question again?

Momma Jo, I'm fairly certain that in mst developed countries, there are equal pay for equal work legislation.
As far as the glass ceiling goes, it is now translucent and getting more opaque with each year. There are plenty of female CEO's at the helm of Forbes 500 companies. It is likely that there will never be as many female business leaders as men, for the same reason as why there aren't as many female poitiicians: women aren't as keen on wading into the sludge.
All this doesn't explain the rampant male bashing occuring not only in offices and bars, but most notably all over the media. Virtually ever commercial depicts teh male as weak or dumb and the female smart and assertive.
