So my boss called in today, i think she did it out of spite because her hours changed from 8-4:30 and my co-worker is off today so my boss would've had to cover her till 5pm, she doenst like to stay. My hours are 8-4:30 and I cant stay because i have to be at home at 5 to pick up my kid. So not only are we short staffed, we are experiencing layoffs in other departments, the phones have been ringing off the hook and its been very busy lately. I am the only one at the front desk, and I have no backup!! I'm just glad its not so busy right now. I had the feeling she was going to call in this morning when i got to work. That's spooky. Why call in when you are not sick and its mandatory for you to be here?

she was gone monday, tuesday and wednesday, i think something was wrong with her because she didnt look well when she came back.
