My son would like to be able to do a walk-on try out for the basketball team at his college next year, but he needs someone to help him get into top form. I am looking for a private coach or a camp-type program to help him.

I do private coaching, but I live in Maryland. If you take the camp route, look for a specialty camp, for big men, for point guards, or a shooting camp. I am also involved with running shooting camps. Check www.shot-doctor.com or email me at coachtopp@verizon.net.

set up cones in a square see if they can dribble that should be easy also my 1st grade coach always said to get back to the other side and dont fight with the other team for the ball aka trying to steel it from them from behind and stuff like that. try to teach them a lay up im not sure if they lower the hoops for the lower kids but either way i think they should make it. and to keep the kids amused scrimmage them they will find it fun and the parents will see that they are having fun
