I have to recently issued bench warrents for driving on suspended license. I want to take care of this as soon as possible. Just scared because I raise three small children on my own and drive 45 minutes to and from work every day. Am I totally screwed?

Usually you either have to post the entire amount, or pledge something worth that much.
A Bail Bondsman will typically charge you the 10% plus fees.
If you don't show, he is stuck for the full amount.
That is why a lot of Bail Bondsmen are also bounty hunters.
If you don't show, they go find you instead of the Police.
If you have bench warrants, they can br recalled if you go talk to the judge and make payment arrangements.
Call the court and ask!
If the Police come get you, you'll have to pay the bond or sit in jail until you see the judge.

You have to pay $5,000 to the court. You can get a loan for that amount from a bail bondsman if you have 10% in cash and collateral. Otherwise, if you can't find someone to care for your kids, you can make arraingements with social services to take them until you get your situation straightened out.

Depends on where you are at.
Some require only 10% and others require the entire bond.
