You're still very young, your period is bound to be irregular. You also should remember that periods don't occur on exact monthly intervals, rather on 28 day intervals, so each month it will be a couple of days earlier. (April 15 then May 12, for example).

Your period does not occur on the same day each month. A woman's periods usually come anywhere between 21 and 40 days apart.
A normal adult woman does not have a period that lasts just 2 days. I wish it were like that, but it's not.
Mark the day your period actually started on last month on last month's calendar, and the day it actually started this month on this month's calendar. That way, you can calculate the number of days between each period and try to predict your next period. You will not be able to have a predictable menstrual cycle for about another year, so always carry a pad or tampon just in case!
As for the pad issue, buy some unscented pads or use a body spray or scented deoderant that covers the smell. I'm still sure that no one else can smell your pad, so don't be so self-conscious.
I hope I helped!

Gosh I remember feeling all of those things when I was your age. I didn't start my period until I was 14. First things first, nobody else but you notices your pad or the smell, I promise. If you are bathing yourself on a regular basis nobody else notices when you are on your period.
It is perfectly normal for your period to last four days. I am almost 30 and that is how long my usually lasts. My sister is 16 and her's sometimes lasts for 5-6 days. Doctor's aren't concerned about it unless it lasts for more than 8 days.
Your body is adjusting to your monthly cycle. It is ok if you have a longer period or a shorter one at first. The normal monthly cycle is 28 days, but that is not exact always. I very rarely have a period that is exactly 28 days. Mine vary from 28 to 34! Again, that's ok, and especially for you, because your body is still developing.
You should always mark your calendar on the first day of your period. From the first day of your period you should not get one again until 28 days later. (and that's not always exact) If it isn't exactly right that's ok. Until your body gets used to this you may have a few unusual periods, like one is two days, and another one is four. In time you will begin to notice that your body develops a consistent pattern. Then you will begin to notice when it's getting around that time of the month for you.

You should mark down the second time. And trust me dear, no one smells that you have a pad on. And if its in your purse, it smells pretty good. Don't be embarrassed. We all go through it and it's a normal thing. if we didn't have it no one would be here. Think about that. Keep good records of your periods so you know about when it may OR MAY not come next time. Most people experience a period for 5 to 7 days unless they are on the pill. Take it easy hon.....

Typically, your cycle should come around every 28 days, so every month you will start on a different day. Mark on a calendar the day you start and every day of your period after that until it is over. It depends on the person, but periods can last 4 days, and some "lucky" girls have it for 7 days. You will get to know your cycle after having quite a few of them tracked. Change your pad often and you wont have to worry about smell.

There's nothing wrong with you. I had mine 3 or 4 times before it got regular. Other people are regular from the beginning.
As for the smell thing, you could try changing your pad more often and maybe carrying a small pack of sanitary wipes with you in your purse. Using a tampon helps with the smell, too, but you may not be ready (mentally) for that just yet, as you're still young.
Good luck!

relax..you're period will be abnormal for at least the first year...so don't worry about the different dates...and if you're worried about scented pads you can either...use unscented pads, or start using tampons..but it is probably only you that can smell the pads so don't worry about it..it's a paranoia thing...i was the same way...and now i use tampons and i won't go back to pads..if you want to know more or talk more email me..

You will be irregular for a while and then you will be predictable. Just expect the unexpected. Always be prepared for it to start.
