The last time the Ravens were playing this good, they went all the way. (and they did it WITHOUT a QB) Brian Billick is one of those coaches that gets better and better the closer he gets to the Big Prize.
This team has gotten better every week and McNair is starting to really "fit in" with the Raven system. I watched them systematically dismantle the Steelers yesterday. I don't think any team this season could have beaten them this week.
I believe that right now the ONLY team in the AFC that could beat them would be the Colts and Manning, but if I was a betting man, I'd put the whole mortgage check on the Ugly Purple Crows this year............

Yes, and here's why...McNair brings a real toughness and leadership that the Ravens' offense has never had. He is a player that makes the people around him better. They have a great offensive line, which means they will run the football and protect the QB...they have pretty good wide receivers and a pro bowl calliber tight end in Todd Heap....and that defense with Ray Lewis as its undisputed leader is just plain scary! They have the best shot in the AFC of knocking off the Colts, then all roads lead to the Superbowl!!!

G'day Kyrah K,
Thank you for your question.
You certainly have reason for hope given a 9-2 record and a team in good form. A 27-0 victory over the defending champions certainly is reason for optimism.
Baltimore appear likely to make the playoffs. Once you are in the playoffs, it is a whole new season as the Steelers showed last year and the Cardinals showed in the major league baseball playoffs.
Good luck to them.
Regards

No. They will choke like they do every year. The lone exception of course is the year they bought the title by loading up on mercenary free agents and then unloading them the next few years. McNair is a HUGE step up at QB for them, but if he gets injured that means Boller will have to play and that means an instant loss.
Also, how lame is it that Baltimore named their team after an Edgar Allen Poe poem? I guess naming your team after a poem is better than naming it after your city's number 1 industry- "The Baltimore Heroin Dealers."

Sure, why not. I think people look at regular season performance too heavily. Once each team makes the playoffs, it doesn't matter what happened in the regular season. What matters is what happens from that point on and I have confidence in the Ravens.

Heck yes they will!!! The rings are practically on our fingers already! :) Our D is unstoppable (just ask big Ben lol) and the offense is winning without even being at their full potential. This is our year, and we're taking it all!!

They have a great defense. On offense, I think that they are good, but shakey.
