yea. the new one is smaller, and rounder. And it comes in color. also, it has a couple more features than the originals.

The old nano is bigger and has a shiny back that gets dirty very easily. The newer ones are smaller, skinnier, and have rounded edges. I lie it but be careful with it. I might've been a little too rough with it but the black color started chipping off of the top.

both nano's are 3.5 inches tall, 1.6 inches wide, and just over quarter of an inch thin

the new one is thinner, however the change is so miniscule that you cant even notice it unless you have an electron microscope
I recomend the old one looks so much nicer, although it is prone to finger prints + scratches

yes they say it is thinner and carries up to 8G of songs. go to the apple website and they will show you the size comparison.
