Republicans dodge hypothetical questions because deep down inside they would disagree with Muslims voting.

If they were a state then they would be citizens with the constitutional right to vote. My opinion wouldn't matter.

There is no law saying that a state must be geographically connected to the other states to join the union (see Alaska or Hawaii). Although politically about one thousand years away (or more), if the nation of Iraq voted (legitimately) to join the United States and met all the constitutional requirements, of course they should be able to vote in government elections.

How on earth (literally) could Iraq possibly even connect to the United States?

You're kidding for sure. Little green Martians have more of a chance to become citizens of US.
But just for the sake of argument, of course they would have the right to vote. You have read the Constitution - no?

Iraq will obviously not become a state of the United States. Why would you think that? Puerto Rico is the only U.S. province, and the only country that could become a U.S. state.

If it's a state of the U.S. then why shouldn't they vote? If they didn't vote it will be unfair. Anyways, I doubt it would become a state.
