We do know our own bodies, and also they should ask the right questions...and LISTEN!

What is tidle?? Do you mean entitled?? And yes we are.

With Doctors you have to learn to use your very best judgment and the tests he can run to help determine what is going on.

This is an age old question that women have been asking for ages. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I am a nurse and I especially know when somethings wrong with me. Remember this one word----Ego. If you have the insurance that allows you to choose your own Dr., then change. I "interview" potential Drs. before I choose one to manage my health care. I make it clear what I expect and if they agree, we got a match. If not, adios. You have the right to speak up about your care. After all, you're hiring them to do a service for you!

I dont know what you are talking about but the doctors do not trust patients who know better medicine than they do. So if this guy abused your body it is one thing but if he does not listen to you it is because very frequently patients think they know what they have whereas they are just wrong. It is like the guy who goes to the mechanics with his big car and starts explaining to the professional what is the problem... Do not delude yourself about your knowledge of your own body.

Don't you HATE that? I want to my gyno (ex-gyno) last year and told her I wanted to get off the pill. She said, "No you don't. Here's another prescription." and walked out of the room. Needless to say, I never went back to her.
