but help is appreciated anyway.
so today, were try outs for basketball. and i couldn't like handle it, it was alot of running and i'm not in shape.
there are more days of try outs but i'm so beat, and i just want to give up
and i know you'll all probably say " don't give up", and i'm usually not a quitter, but i don't think i can keep up with the other girls.
help ?
thanks.

how in heavens name do you expect to be ready for tryouts if you were out of shape?....you shouldve been working out and training leading up to the tryouts if you want a sporting chance of making the team...my feeling is anyone who shows up out of shape for tryouts doesn't deserve to be on the team...and since you did it doesn't seem you are seriously committed to work hard for the team...i suggest you skip this year and prepare yourself in earnest for next year

Basketball is a good way to get your body into shape. Just because your not in shape right now doesn't mean it will take you long to get there. Everyone needs to get back into shape to start the season. If you really want to play basket ball stick to it, each practice will get easier for you and you'll feel less tired.

If you really want to play then remember everyday it'll get a little bit easier. The first few weeks are always hard but the benefits are forever! Good luck and Hard Work Always Pays!

Personally, I think you should try it one more day, just to see if it's for you or not and if not just try to find something that is easier for you. There will always be next year. Try to get faster if you really want to do basketball.

If it's too much for you, don't push yourself.
Instead, start working out and gradually building up your endurance and whatnot to try out next year. Maybe you can even enlist help from the coach.

you have to decide if you really want to paly or not. is playing worth all the work that it takes to make the team and presumably stay on the team??

take advantage of breaks. if you can't take it, then leave it.
btw, this is not a stupid question. people experience this all the time and just don't know what to do.
