I understand you're getting desperate for an answer! It is a rather difficult question, though.

Do you mean how did they manage to lay them out in a perfect square or do you mean how did they manage to actually get the blocks in place?

To get the blocks in place, it is now believed that they used ramps built up around the completed part of the pyramid to get the blocks up to the level being worked on currently. Remains of ramps have been found around pyramids from times after the pyramids at Giza were built. Also, a large amount of debris excavated at Giza recently is believed to be the remains of a ramp.

As far as laying out the pyramids, the Egyptians were good surveyors. They didn't do quite as well when they first started building true pyramids (Sneferu built 3 before he was satisfied with the outcome). Usually, strings and pegs were employed to layout areas of building activity. They probably used a method involving Pythagorean triangles to get the pegs and strings in the right places. For a short discussion of three possible layout methods (and how they oriented them to start with), see this site: http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/pyramidorientation.htm

Once they had the square base area laid out, they just had to put the blocks in place. The blocks are well carved, but they are not all exactly the same size. One may get that impression from looking at the outer blocks, but this is not the case. They used smaller stones (though still very large) to fill in when needed. Once the first layer of blocks was laid, the real work was in lifting the blocks in place (see above on ramps) because all they had to do was make the levels progressively smaller as they went up, with the lower level as their guide.

Sorry it was so long ago that my memory has faded. If I can remember we used sand ramps and placed the huge stone on something like a sled to pull and push them up into place.Forty years doing that takes a little out of you,but we were not slaves and were paid for our labor. We had engineers that were good for laying out the base and leveling it off in order to build the Pyramid. They may have dug a trench around the base in the shape of a box and then filled it with water and by the water finding it's level, they were able to excavate evenly to a flat surface. This is hard to explain without drawings and is only a theory amongst many others.Best of luck.Once the floor was created the rest was just using triangles and math.

well, as far as i know, it has something to do with the air pressure between the stones.. but the exact method hasn't been discovered yet.. like u were told in the previous answers it's a "mystery"..

if we knew that we would've built strong building like the pharaohs did, but as u can see, one earthquake and hundreds of buildings and schools collapse.

It s a mystery that still hasn't been solved. No one was there to see how it was done.
