like today someone called my cell and i was like hello and it sounded like an old lady and shes like is this luis and im like yea who is this and shes like its shay shay and im like i think you got wrong number and shes like no but i love you and i just hung uo the phone has anyone had strange phone calls like mine?

lol yes it's probably just a prank call
some teenager who somehow knows your number and decided to scare you
me, personally...i just scare them back.
like if they say, "i love you" im just like "omg realy? i love you too!" and they're usually like what the heck and just hang up.
my advice is as soon as you press the end button then forget about it.

ALL THE TIME! It's crazy! Once this guy called me from a private it number and I don't pick up private calls, but they left a message and it was some old man that sounded like he was from the south- saying how much he missed his son (who he thought he was calling) and that he just finished moving in and he loves him.And he kept calling and leaving messages but I always missed the call cause I was in class and I could never call him back cause it was always from a private number. He finally stopped after calling for 3 weeks- I hope he got in touch with his son lol.
And then another time someone called me and I had missed the call and called the number back . I asked if someone called me from this number and they said no... and I'm like yes they did because I don't know this number how else would I have gotten it, and they are like NO, we called Blah blah blah (a different #) & I said NO you may have meant to call the other number but instead you called this, which is fine but I just wanted to know. They kept arguing and yelling at me so I just said Well you called the wrong number-Bye! and Hung up lol.

YES the last one was last month. I was in the mall when i got the strangest phone call. I answered it thinking it was a business call and a man asked to speak to vanessa. I told him the wrong num and he still keep on talking, like if i was this vanessa person. So i said goodbye, hung up and he called back about 5 mins later. I answered and then he said i know now that this is not vanessa, but i was wondering if i could have your number....
What's up with that..
I dont need to go into any further details...
I mean he had my number inorder to have contacted me ? RIGHT!!!!

This was so weird. Last year, I was home by myself and I was cleaning the kitchen and so then my cellphone started ringing. I picked it up and there was a lot of voices and rap music in the backround, and some guy talknig really loudly and sounding obnoxious. He said "DUUUUUUDE IS THIS JORDAN??!?! MAAAAAN UR MISSINN OUTT ON ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" and then there was a lot of strange laughing and hollering going on and I yelled into the phone that he had the wrong number, so he could hear me. yeah.. this one time i got like three vice mails of this gargling staticy noise and on my cell phone i tried looking up in the call log and there was no evidence that this call ever took place... there was no number, no call time, no nothing... i also just get some random people... its kinda freaky if you ask me

When I was 12 and had a nanny this guy called and asked if it was the local hospital. and I was a little bit shy of the phone and i handed it to like my 63 year old nanny. she said ohh no and he hung up. Then the phone rang again and the nanny answered and he asked her name she said "Sally"and he said oh ok thanks for your help Sally. Then once again the phone rang, same guy, and he asked if Sally was married she just said Ohhh yeah. He apologized and hung up. We never heard from him again

yes...and i hated i was accused of something and then i found out when i got my new # it belonged to a real bad person that treated the other like crpand i got all kinds of calls until i had it changed again
