I was in San Francisco and I was sitting in a club about 4 in the afternoon.I had stopped in for a quick drink before going back to my apartment.I was trying to mind my own business but guys kept sending me drinks.I refused because I wasn't looking to have to deal with them.
A band came on the stage and started to play and I heard the sexiest most beautiful voice ,I looked up and I saw the lead singer. He was about 6 feet tall about 180 lbs ,long black hair and I would soon find out the blackest deepest eyes Id ever seen.I watched and listened as they played more and his voice was like a narcotic. It seem to draw me to him.I wanted to get a closer look so I walked to the ladies room. And my eyes affirmed what I had seen from farther away.He was very good looking..But I had this rule,NEVER date entertainers. So I powered my nose ran my fingers thru my hair and not looking his direction went back to where I was sitting.
I began talking with the bartender and again some one had sent me a drink,I told the bartender to send it back and to tell who ever sent it that I could buy my own drinks and told the bartender to buy whoever sent me the drink ,
whatever they were drinking and to leave me alone.
I was looking in my purse when I felt this presence beside me and this "voice" saying that he came to thank me for the drink. It was the lead singer.Any way lol one month later we were married and we have been married 35 years an have a 32 yr old daughter.:)
Hes a stock broker and I'm a financial adviser we are still in love and hes still so very good looking.and his voice is still sweet and sexy.Sorry its so long.
Happy Holidays to you too sweetie.

I met her while I was in the Air Force stationed at a small site in California. She was the sister of one of the guys girlfriends from the site. I noticed her sometimes when the guy would bring them up to the site. When it came time for me to leave there I asked her and her friend if they wanted to go to L.A. with me and drive one of my cars to help me out. They wanted to go there anyway. So one thing led to another and I found myself falling for this young lady. Who became my wife and we had two children together. But time has past and the children are on their own as she is too. We've been divorced for about four or five years now. But she's still a very good friend. Hope this makes your day.

Great question!
We met through mutual friends and neither of us was interested in a relationship. We hung out with friends for a couple of months (coffee, groups out to dinner, etc.) One Saturday in August he picked me up about 7 a.m. we went to New Orleans for the day (before the storms) and ate beignets, walked around the French Quarter, took the trolley down St. Charles Street.
Two weeks later, he took me to an LSU football game and then out to dinner. We did something together every chance we got which was somewhat tricky as he worked shift work and I was taking call a lot ( I'm a nurse).
We spent Christmas together and then I realized I just was spending hardly any time at my apartment. We decided it was silly for me to pay rent and spend all my time with him.....so I moved in.
That was 3 years ago. He's retired now and thinks his job is taking care of me. I LOVE IT and I love him!! Thank you for asking.

I'm not quite in love but I'm pretty head over heals for my boyfriend.
I met him at the county fair in my town. I'd been living here for about 9 months and I didn't (and still don't) know many people. I asked my co-worker if he thought his daughter would like to go the fair with me. She's a few years younger than me, but a blast to hang out with. The two of us were basically wandering around when I ran into one of the three people I know in this town! I walked with him to where his group of friends were hanging out by the electric bull machine. I was approached by this amazingly handsome 6'2" guy who just started chatting with me. I was a bit stunned and flattered because I've never been approached like that. Its always the other way around. It didn't take me long to figure out that he was incredibly drunk, but that was fun. We traded numbers and his best friend's girlfriend had to reassure him multiple times that I was really attractive and his beer goggles weren't that bad before we went out on a date. It was good times though.
I usually just tell people that I won him at the ring toss because they ran out of teddy bears.

We met at a coffe shop. He was in front of me and had forgotten his wallet so I paid for his coffee. He came over to thank me again and told me he was from out of town and was going home that evening. I gave him my email address and we traded emails. Then I gave him my phone number and we have talked every day since then. That was 4 months ago. I was able to spend 3 weeks with him in October and am going back for 2 weeks in January.

I was at college at the time, and I took a couple of weeks off to visit some friends in another state. While visiting a bumped into a guy and I dropped my shopping,he apologised and I went on my merry way.The next day my friends and I went to a bar,and the same guy who bumped into me the day before was there.he came over and asked if he could by me a drink as a way of apologising properly.I said I was fine, and went home.I month goes by and I am back home and back at college.I went to catch a train back home from college, when the same guy asked for directions on for which train he should catch.I told him and went home.About 2 weeks later I decided to visit my parents(about 2 hours drive away)Any way the next day after being at my parents,The same guy tapped me on the shoulder and asked if there was a camera shop near by so he could get his photo's printed..I recognised him straight away, and he recognised me.I said to him,are you stalking me?he said no but he was going to ask me the same question.he asked me out on a date for that night.I went, and he told me how he was Irish and told me all about Ireland and all about his travels(as he was backpacking around the world)and we have been together ever since, that was 16 years ago,we have been married 15 years on the weekend.

I wish I could say it was some uber romantic story, but alas, it was really more of an "over time" thing. He is a client at the bank that I work at and over time, we started talking more about our personal lives and less about his accounts. He came to one of our Christmas parties and then asked me to dinner. And the rest, as they say, is history!

I met her on here and started emailing each other, developed a friendship, started calling each other and fell deeply in love with each other. She lives in Illinois and is moving to Georgia to be with me real soon. Amazing isn't it?
