What should I get a PS3 or X-box 360?

I can get either but I can't decide?

X-Box 360 is a great machine but the PS3 is supposed to have graphic capabilities that blow the 360 out of the water and have a huge game inventory unlike the 360 which has been limited due to many game companies ill thoughts about Microsoft.

I think you should go to a place like Circuit City and play a game that is available for both systems ( if there is one). This way you can compare the graphics and game play and make the decision yourself.

Obviously, you will get fan loyalty for both systems on Yahoo! Answers and therefore you will not get legitimate answers about the systems. So find out for yourself and what you feel is the best.

By the way I do not own either system yet either because I am still checking each one out and seeing what games are coming out for each system.

Xbox 360:
Xbox360 has been out for a year now, and has over 100 game titles for the system. Game like Gears of War have lived up to the hype and prove that the 360 is Next-Gen. Most of the PS3 exclusive titles have now turned and will be coming to the 360, like Assasins Creed, and GTA4. Xbox360 has a great online service with Xbox Live and Microsoft charges a $50 fee a year for the service. The interesting note is how far can the games be pushed on the Xbox360? Epic has done a great job with GOW, but it was a short game (around 10 hours of play), so online is a must to get the full experience like most Xbox games. You can add on a HD-DVD drive for $199.

PS3:
PS3 has only launched. The launch titles have been the worst of any new consoles debute. Resistance, and RR7 are the only games worth mentioning that does well on the PS3. But no console should be decided on their launch. The PS3 needs time and then we can see how far Sony has come to competing against a very strong Microsoft with the 360. Even though Sony lost some exclusive titles to the 360, they still have some most notibaly, MGS4, UT2007, and DMC4 along with most of the 360 titles. You also get a very cheap Blue-Ray player.

The X-Box 360. The PS3 is barely a game system anymore. The president of sony even said so. Plus the PS3 is $600-$700 and the 360 is $400 :).

well, i wouldn't suggest getting either right now because there IS limited backward compatibility with the PS3, contrary to popular belief and the 360 has the same problem... the bugs in compatibility for both should be fixed this summer so choose then.... if you're a halo fan, go with the 360, but the PS3 is supposed to have better graphics

Xbox 360 because It is much better. Also the ps3 has only 1 good launch title "resistance: fall of man" and that doesn't even show off the graphical capabilities of the blue ray drive in the Ps3, even on HD!

PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!. The graphics are better, more storage room than the 360 it more stylish, better online community because every you play online with the ps3 is free!!!!!! unlike the weakass 360.Plus it's backwards compatable meaning you could play your ps1 and ps2 all of them unlike the 360 you could ONLY play selcted WHICH SUCK! they said only the greatest hits could be played on the 360, but what if you think a title you played is a hit? too bad they don't care. Like I said the ps3 is worth your hard earn money......TRUST ME!
