Yes I believed and yes my kids believed, it broke my heart when they got to old to believe. I miss seeing the excitement in there eyes when we would see a santa in a store!

yup, right along with the Easter bunny too. It is always good to keep the magic alive. Heck I am 25 and I am still not totally convinced there isn't a Santa. There are a couple years at Christmas that there is no explanation for some of the gifts we got. I know what kind of money my parents made and some of the gifts just can't be explained. They were never overly extravagant by any means, just for our normal types of presents something special would show up now and again.

Yes, I grew up believing in Santa and I in turn had my children and grandchildren believing in him too. In fact, I still write on some of their Christmas gifts, "from Santa". It is magical the feeling I had when I was a child, and the joy and happiness that it brings is forever eternal.

I am going to have my kids believe in Santa until 3rd or 4th grade. I believed in Santa and I think it is one of the things that make being a kid fun.

Of course I believe in Santa... I really still think he exists... just in a different way than I did as a child. I have two daughters and they definitely believed in Santa and I hope that my grandchildren (when I have them) believe and I hope their children believe... Santa is a lot deeper than just a man in a red suit and white beard... there should be a little bit of Santa in all of us!

Yes and yes I did. Santa Claus is the spirit of Christmas. I have told my daughter that if she no longer believes in Santa Claus, then no presents. Really, it's fun to pretend and I wave and say hi to all the Santa Claus's I meet! Oh, by the way, my daughter is 22.

I believed in him. In fact when I found out the truth, I wasn't so much disapointed but chargrined. I kept my family thinking I thought he was real like 2 more years. After that I felt bad and told them the truth. I was also like 11 at the time. DAMN you conciense.
And YES, id deffinetly do it for my kids. Id celebrate every holiday with them. Id also teach them that the important thing about christmas is family, fellowship, good feelings. The gift its self isnt important, its the spirit in which it is given.
I dont want my kids to be materialistic, but i do want them to have wonder. Its important for them to have innocence, and make-believe is part of all that. And yes, psychologists agree that its healthy.

...I am a single dad, and I never really talked up Santa Clause at Christmas time. I try to make sure they remember the gift Christ gave...the ultimate gift of future everlasting life! Now, don't get me wrong, we have to live and share this planet and there is nothing wrong with the novel ideas Christmas brings, but I just don't believe we should forget what it is we are celebrating and to Whom we REALLY owe thanks...!!!

As a Christian, I never believed in him because I knew that Christmas wasn't about Santa and getting presents. I playfully tell my kids that Santa is bringing them gifts on Christmas for being good but they know the gifts come from mommy and daddy.
