Become a better singer? Take vocal lessons from a professional. TAs at local colleges work well. If you're at a University, you can join choirs, usually without taking them for credit, which makes them free.
Being noticed: Take your art, which is what singing is, seriously. Don't lower yourself to what other pop singers have and ruin your voice for the sake of a record or any other gig. There are good pop singers out there, take their pathway and be a singer. Don't be an actress, don't be a pop star...be a singer. Music's too good by itself, it doesn't need anything else's help if it's done well. Good Luck and keep it rockin' in the free world!

welll, i attempted that :) i in basic terms extra some movies of me making a music and enjoying the guitar & i've got been given somewhat outstanding comments, and human beings start to understand you :) and then with a bit of luck a expertise scout will see :D so in basic terms upload some movies and wish for the final xx
