collect and condense all the extra carbon dioxide/ pollutants/emissons in the greenhouse gases layer in a gigantic oxygen tank, blast it to the moon for it to explode and release the gases. maybe it'll halt global warming?

Not for the entire moon. It is too small (and therefore has too little gravity) to hold in an atmosphere as thick as ours).
A similar contained atmosphere could be made in enclosed regions (either by "pumping" the right gases into the space or some sort of manipulation of the gases that are already there) and maintained by allowing Earth plants, bacteria, animals to share the atmosphere as they do on Earth.

Not possible. The moon's escape vellocity is too low for any gas to remain near the surface. Simply put, there is not enough gravity on the moon for it to maintain an atmosphere.

Only in a completely enclosed space. The moon's gravity is far too low to retain any sort of atmosphere.

Read up on Biosphere 2 to see why it wouldn't work. We couldn't even pull it off on Earth, so we have a lot of problem solving to do before we can pull it off on another planet or the moon.

Mars Yes.now that's possible.bring water from the subsurface.grow algae. and other forms of oxygen producing plants cultivate them, constantly. spreading them out along the surface of mars..wait a few 1000 years.there you have it. a livable planet to colonize. It will never happen on the moon.only small city's one day.for exploration and mineral excavation. If of course the space aliens who visit. allow us to . ha ha ha
