It is a guinea pig I believe that gets transported to the Wood. The animals are able to be sent there, but obviously don't have ability to come back.

Strawberry is the name of the cab horse that was transported unwittingly by Jadis into Narnia when Polly and Digory chose the wrong pool in the Wood Between the Worlds. Frank (the cabby) and his wife Helen became the first king and queen of Narnia and Strawberry's name was changed to Fledge when Aslan gave him wings.
