ok there is a double baragraph it says:
Jesse-has 20 feet jumped for #1 and 6 feet for #2
chandra 14 # 1 and 19 for number 2
Cari 18 for #1 and 4 for #2

and the graph is going sideways not up and it says
what is the label for the virtical axis?
and also
what is the label for the horizontal axis?

it is so confusing i don't get it help!!!

names on vertical
Distance on horizontal

First and second jumps could be drawn in two different colours.

horizontal axis would be labeled Distance Jumped and the Vertical axis would be labeled Participants of Activity

The vertical axis would be the NAME of the person who was jumping. The horizantal axis would be how many FEET the person jumped on both graphs.

If it is going sideways, the vertical would be1st/2nd attempt
and horizontal would be person

Vertical- would probably be the names

Horizontal- would be feet...i think

it is quite confusing

verticle = name
horizontal = distance

This is called a verticle bar graph. I suppose you missed that part of class.
