I don't think so, the body naturally protect the baby. She will only feel as bad as a person that's not pregnant.

not at all. You just have to be careful with the medicine. I got the flu loads of times while I was pregnant. I chose not to have any medicine while I was with the flu. Once I did need to have some antibiotic, but the doctor said that it was a specil antibiotic for pregnant women. I never had problems with anything and it's very normal to get the flu while you're pregnant cause your defenses are very low, your body is not taking care of you but of your baby. I actually gave birth 4 months ago and this is the second time I have the flu after giving birth, I'm nursing and that keep my defenses low as well. You'll be fine

Not bad for the baby, just miserable for you. Being pregnant can be uncomfortable enough; having the flu is a double whammy. Best thing you can do is make sure you take good care of yourself. Drink lots of fluids (you don't want to get dehydrated), get lots of rest. Eat as you are able. Keep an eye on your temp. Make sure you at least call your dr. and let them know. They might want to see you but probably not.
Babies are suprisingly well protected in the womb.

The most crucial time in pregnancy is from conception to 12 weeks.
If you were to have a viral infection or the flu or just a bad cold around 5 to 7 weeks pregnant it may be damaging. 5 weeks is the forming of heart and brain and you might have to take medicine for your sickness, also that early you probably dont even know you are pregnant. Also 5 or 6 weeks is when the palate and face is coming together and sickness can cause cleft lip and/or palate. So be careful and you wont have to worry.

Im 9 months pregnant and have a headcold. I also had the flu at about 20wks gestation as well. I was told by my doctor that even though it wont harm the baby, it can dehydrate the mother so she needs to keep her fluids up.

She also wont be able to take any cold and flu tablets except tylenol/paracetamol to reduce fever as cold and flu preparations contain codeine which can be dangerous to her health.

The flu isn't so bad. Just make sure she stays hydrated. Constantly have things to drink, even pedialyte.

I had strep once when preggo, and there were no problems with baby. I also had bronchitis with another baby, again, no problem.

I had the flu twice with this pregnancy. I was so dehydrated and they gave me IV fluids right in the doctors office. I would let your doctor know at least so they can keep you hydrated.

Your baby should be fine, they are pretty well protected while in the womb; the biggest thing is for you to stay hydrated. If you are concerned about it, you should call your doctor! Hope you're feeling better soon! Congrats on the little one on the way!!!
