The iPod. I have had no problem at all putting any song I had on my computer onto my iPod. I've heard the Zune will not allow you to put Protected songs on it, even though you are supposed to be able to have the 3 day whatever it is. I think it's ridiculous that you can't put on songs that you bought..you paid for those songs and should be able to do whatever you want with them. But I digress...anyway, like I said, my iPod will play any song, whether I downloaded it, it was already in My Music folder or if I rip it from a CD.

I have a 30 gb video ipod, and it works very well. You can put just about any kind of information you want on it. You can even put in the lyrics to songs (or the answers to tests) on it. Don't get the zune tho, it is brand new, and from what I hear, still has a few bugs to work out.

ipod contact. once you first get it there isnt a lot that you'll be able to do on it except surf the internet purchase songs watch video clips on youtube and pay interest to music. yet thats plenty. you could make it extra like an iphone by doing something referred to as jailbreaking it which supplies you it waayy extra belongings you could do on it. You cant do almost as many stuff on the zune and the zunes are thicker and arnt as reliable often. the zune is a really undesirable opponent for the ipods. So bypass for the ipod contact

I would go with the ipods because you know they work. but you might want to use it alot in the first couple of months to get the battery to hold a charge. otherwise they just go dead.
