i got the cd windows vista and i install it and then it takes all my stuff off of my computer and i need to in stall my wirels internet and it whont let me what do i do can i install it i had to go back to windows xp

Don't do it Vista totally bites right now I did it and I know a lot about computers and it just sucks its to unstable right now give it a few months . If you like the look of Vista buy or get for free off Limewire Object Desktop gives all the visual optiond of Vista without the junk Vista is that is a Beta copy of vista millions of bugs get rid of it . Personally I wait 3 to 6 months even when it comes out in the store before I buy any new operating system I got greedy with vista though

Well your out of luck if you dont own Windows XP on a disk, if you bought the computer with windows xp allready on it from the store then your gonna need to go buy the actual disk with windows XP on it at the store. Then when you get home, stick the disk in, turn on the computer and then wait till u see a option where it says "press any key to boot from CD" then press any key then it will bring you to a blue screen with words on it saying what you can do. You have to click "delete everything from DRIVE C" then it will delete everything of vista. Then format it with the options, but do the quick one otherwise it would tkae a couple hours. Then click install and install windows XP. I was just trying out vista to and didn't liek it, i wanted XP back so that's what i did, except i custom made my computer so i had XP allready. Email if u need anymore help. Or call whoever the computer manufactures company is and tell them about it, i'm sure they would be happy to reinstall it for you for free. Or go to the geek squad at best buy, theny could do it too. Good luck!
