Green, black, gold, or silver.

Personally, I would go with a slightly deeper shade of green than emerald for the shoes, like a forest. Something really rich that will complement the jewel tone of the dress, but won't overpower it either. Maybe a velvet or suede to give interest to your shoes without having to add any sparkle.
Something like this could be great.

Hey!! I totally have a shoe fetish...lol... I think that gold strappy heels would be the best accent to a beautiful emerald colored dress. They will also make your legs look awesome. You could also go with something the same color as your dress. I found some links to some really cool shoes. I think you should find some thing that looks similar to these... but don't pay as much for them as this site is asking...lol.

Black, ivory or a pair of dyeable shoes. You can take the dress with you to a shoe store that carries dyeable shoes. Ask to see there swatch samples find a shade of emerald green that matches your dress and order.

My bridesmaids shoes had to match the dress that each lady was to wear in my wedding. I took samples of each dress with me to a shoe store and matched them to the samples that the shoe store had.

Make sure that the store you choose to have your shoes dyed at sets the color. Otherwise, you may end up with green feet. A friend of mine had a pair of shoes dyed at Kinney shoes and her feet turned blue because they didn't set the dye.

HINT: Payless sets their dye.

i would wear gold or silver pumps or kitten heels. I but I am tall so high heels would look good too! red would not look good and green may be too much. but a silver or gold would be a nice punch of color and i would carry a clutch matching the shoes that you choose!

dye the shoes to match dress and it will make you look thinner and taller and if not over weight you might try silver or gold with a small evening bag to match.
