all things have a solid liquid and gas state. it just depends on the temperature.

A solid is a form of a liquid, some solids can't be broken. A liquid is not very common on the table of elements, most of them are nonmetals, but is the first stage to a solid. A gas is a nonmetal, most of the gases are the last stage of an elements deduction.

im not sure i understand the question...but if you mean what i think you mean, almost all matter can be changed from a solid to a liquid to a gas using phase changes.

Solid is something you can hold in your hands.

Liquid - you can't hold it, but it will stay in a bucket.

Gas - It will escape from your hands as well as a bucket.
