my borther is 17 years old and i think he just broke up with his girlfriend.he seems really really really really sad. i feel sorry for him and want to know how i can cheer him up with out hurting his feelings. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make him a sandwich, and take it to him, and tell him that if he wants to talk, you'll be happy to listen. Don't make a big deal of it, but just let him know you're there if he needs something.
He's lucky to have such a concerned sister.

Dont try to pry 1st off.He's goin to be down for a few days maybe weeks.let him know ur there and u love him and when HES ready to talk youd be there to listen and give him the support he needs to get on with his life.u cant cheer him up even though you want so badly to.

I would try and take him out to do something he likes that will keep his mind off it. Honestly though, it will probably be a "time heals all" type of thing and time is probably what he'll need.

Ask him to do his favorite things with you, or take him to the movies, play sports with him, or video games. And if that doesn't work, just pester him till he cheers up.
