Kids on the Disney channel are not famous.
If you want to become an actor you have to do it for the right reasons. Simply doing it for fame is not enough, as it is very hard to become an actor. You could become famous for doing a lot of different things, like being a great doctor who makes a new discovery, or being the top student in your school, there are different types and levels of fame, and many different reasons.
I would say continue acting in your school plays, take acting classes and go on auditions when you can, but also try to pursue your other interests as well, and take time to have fun and understand that you can find fame (if that is what you are really seeking) many different ways.

i do too! if you live in Maryland or Virginia. i heard on the radio station that there are auditions in washington d.c.! and on the radio they even give a phone number!

move to LA, get an agent, and audition. there is no easier way to be discovered.

Have a famous dad (Hannah Montana), or Sis (that show with Britney Spears' sister), or be cute-but-talentless twins (Zack and Cody.) Or have been on a top-rated TV show as a semi-infant, make a lot of money, and produce your own really horrible show (That's so Raven).
And MOST of Disney's tripe is produced in Orlando, Florida these days.
