I'm assuming you mean "avoid labor"? Just take it easy and do as the doctors say.
You're well enough along that even if the baby did come, he or she would be fine. Me and other women I know have had babies WAY before our due dates, months before, and our babies are fine..I have 2 little girls, 7 & 8, the oldest was 3 months early and the youngest was 2 1/2 months early..After a few weeks in the NICU they were home and very healthy with a little help from my milk which is VERY good for preemies, it has just the right stuff in it to help babies gain weight and get the nourishment that they need..If you can't breastfeed I strongly suggest you pump..It is uncomfortable but dont we want the best for our babies??
Anyway, good luck and I hope everything goes fine and that your labor goes as quick and painlessly as possible! lol

I know how you're feeling, I was the same when I was pregnant and nearing the due date. Yet I had twins!
I got to 36 weeks and I'd had enough - emotionally and physically.
My doctor did what's called a search and stretch. Inserts fingers into the cervix and stretches it open a bit. So he brought on my labour.
But my bubs were fine and healthy and ready for the journey. Maybe have a talk to your Doc as I did. He knew I'd had enough and he knew the babies would be fine.
Labor is terrifying but it's wonderful in the end, and you probably wont remember much as you've worked so hard!
Just take these last few weeks or Days even - to relax. Try to.
In the end it'll be ok. Goodluck and Congrats on your gift!!!

I don't understand your question. Are you WANTING TO INDUCE labor now? If that is the question--Its simple--DON'T!
You can kill yourself and the baby.
If you are afraid you may do something accidentally that could
cause the baby to miscarry-Ask yourself some questions.
1. Are you having proper interval check-ups?
2. Are you healthy and is the pregnancy normal?
3. Are you eating healthy foods? And not drinking alcohol?
doing street drugs? Putting any chemicals into your
body?
If you have progressed normally so far/if you feel normal
baby movement/ don't worry. Babies are really tough little
beings, and he'll be breathing fresh air in no time. Have you
picked out a name yet? It will be a lot easier than you think.

You should be fine if your body is not ready it most likely will not go into full labor even if you intentionally do everything possible to make it but just so you you feel better..
DON'T...
*Have sex and let him *** in you
*Drink a lot of Red raspberry leaf tea
*Stimulate your nipples (causes uterin contractions)
*don't get a massage on your ankles or hands unless it's by a professinal..there are pressure points that trigger the uterus
But As you know if you do go into preterm labor go to the hospital immediately!

I am curious as to why you think you will have the baby early. What signs are you having? If it is a barage of braxton hicks contractions, that is normal.
Do this, take it easy. Avoid stress. ( starting with worrying about having the baby early) Avoid caffine too. Keep your feet up.
I cannot say i have ever had the problem of the baby coming early as mine have all come late. Talk to your doctor about your worries and get his opinion. His is what really counts. Good luck and I am sure you will have a happy healthy baby.

I had my baby at 34 weeks, and everything was great. Just like the births of my first 2 babies that were on time. No problems. I knew I was going to go into labor early and I would bug the doctor about it, They gave me steroid shots to mature the babys lungs and all was good. Dont worry too much, and just rest alot. You will be fine.

Don't wear yourself out physically (it doesn't matter what you're doing, if you reach the point of worn out, you did too much). Stress, massaging the spot on your foot between the ankle bone and heel, sex (specifically an orgasm), stimulating your breasts and/or nipples, and spicy foods have all been linking to inducing labor (some may just be myths).
What made me go into labor with my first child was wearing myself out physically by cleaning the house and then eating Mexican food for dinner.

Well...my doctor told me to go home and have sex when I was a day over my due date. It didn't work, but I have heard that some people do and it does work. NO SEX without condoms. There is somethin in the sperm. Don't be getting upset and stressed out over anything, I don't know if it caused it, but my little sister got me all twitterpated and I had to go to the hospital and get a shot to stop my contractions. Good luck!

Try not to worry. Get regular pre-natal care and don't do anything to harm yourself or the baby. Don't try to do anything to induce labor before you are full term (37-8) weeks. Good luck.

That baby is going to come whenever it wants, and theris not much you can to to delay it. Just chill and enjoy your last 10 weeks of good sleep(for the next 20 years or so)
