I don't hate them, I just find them really boring. You can tell they are all scripted, from the confession booth to the way the participants act in the show. They are all so lame! Why call them "reality shows" if they are going to be scripted?

Well, unlike you, I HATED "reality TV shows" from the beginning. The moment I saw them on TV several years ago, I could tell this was fake, by how much my brain cells were dying by the second. It's amazing how anyone who has a little experience in theater or the entertainment arts can land a job on one of these shows. It's not like they can just pick ANYONE off the street, and make it into a REAL reality TV show or something, can they?? God, I wish these shows would get blown off the face of the earth. No such luck....:(

You are absoultely correct. I dont think television producers have any other ideas of what to put on television. Reality shows are lame, boring and I wish they would take all of them off the air.

I completely agree with you, especially shows like survivor. I mean when in actual reality will you be stranded on an island and have other people voting you off. Come on!

I'm so over them - wannabe's use them to get on TV and get their 15 minutes. Has-beens use them to inflate their ego in hopes that someone stupid enough to fall for it. Britney Spears, Nick Carter, you name it. Who does not have a reality show.
And the ones too boring to even have a reality show get their own talk show - Megan Mullahy, Tony Danza, wtf is that sh1t?

Thats the media for you, Plays with an idea untill they kill it from overuse.
i stopped watching survivor after they all started being pretty mutch the same .. when are they going to ever be somewhere thats not Exotic and overly hot?

no, i actually think that they look at the world from an interesting perspective, even if they aren't a perfect picture of "reality", because, honestly, who can truly portray "reality", and i'm not sure that is what the goal always is. Personally i'm sick of all those law shows and CSI's. i guess we all have our own opinions :)
