she is disrespectful shes made her teachers cry, she is verbally abusive tword my 67 year old mom(her gradmother), she is awful and the reason for private is because she has and audio visual difficulty and thepublic schoolis WAY to over crowded to give her the individual attention she needs and private schools are typically very small, well she wasnt even doing her work and was telling us(I THINK SHE WAS TELLING US WHAT SHE THOUGHT WE WANTED TO HEAR>>>>>IN THAT MOMENT) that she was getting a's..not realizing that eventually we'd find out, so the school gave her a second chance with her signing a behavior contract agreement....she failed to comply...not three days later.....not a week later BUT....THAT SAME DAY she made her math teacher break down in tears, she says shes depressed and thinks she should KILL herself

Its time to send him to public school. Because private schools don't receive government funding they can expel a student for any reason they feel goes against there guidelines. My boyfriends mom teaches at a Christian private school and they kick students out if they become pregnant (goes for males and females), if they drop below a certain grade point average, or if they are overly disruptive.

Well, if she has already tried public school then maybe u should consider her finishing up her studies at home. U could have a teacher come by your house 3 times a week with a lesson and home work to be done each time she comes back to the house. The US department of education should offer these solutions to parents in your position also maybe u could see if there is a learning center at the public school. She may have to go there. It is where students with behavioral or learning disabilities like add adhd go to have more one on one time with teachers. U should try to find out in your town. I am sure they offer something.

What kind of "free help?" He can go to public school -- my kids do, have straight A's, and with a little extra learning at home are getting a great education.

Are you talking about legal help so you can sue the private school that kicked him out? If you can afford private school, why do you need "free" help?

WOW, I don't think you want to read my answer on this, but its really your fault. Getting kicked out of school at the age of 16 shows me that the parents didn't do a very good job of raising thier son or daughter. If you can afford to send your child to a private school, I would suggest getting off you duff and getting more involved in your childs day to day activities including school. Sounds to me like child is begging for your attention, start showing them some affection and caring.
