suddenly turned cold (below freezing) and i need to drain the water out fast. the service company states that the drain plug is at the bottom/back of the block, but i can,t locate it. i am not engine savvy, and unfortunately i can,t get a serviceco. to arrive for a week.

does anyone know of a site that may show me where the drain is located? thank you,

brian

On the port side just above the oil filter under the exhaustmanifold. I have an 20 hp Bukh in my garage, took it out of my sailboat and replaced it with an Sole diesel. Don't know what to do with the old one.
