In the mid-70's, on the TV show, either 'Don Kirshnir's Rock Concert' or 'Midnight Special', there was a band on, they had TWO drummers....playing at the same time. I don't mean one guy on percussion and one on a drum kit...I mean two guys, each on his own drum kit. Anyone know? Sorry, I don't remember any other details.

Ok there were several bands that used 2 drummers. 38 Special was one but they were more known for thier hits in the early 80's. Adam ant also used 2 drummers, he had 1 real big hit with Goodie 2 Shoes in the eraly 80's as well. I believe the Doobie Brothers also used 2 drumers.
Can someone tell me the reason for 2 drummers. guitars yes but 2 drummers
