What Metallica song is this?

I am trying to figure out which Metallica song I am thinking of. This is going to be a little cryptic, because I don't know any of the lyrics.
I know that the song starts and ends with the same 8 notes, played on guitar, repeated several times. I know that the chorus includes the word "pain", and that possibly rhymes with "brain" or "insane". I also know that it is one of their heavier songs, not slow or anything. Again, I apologize for the cryptic-ness, but I would really appreciate any help.

By the way, I know that it is NOT sanitarium. I'm sorry that I am making this so hard!

I'm pretty sure one of the lines is "Burning in my brain, I can feel the FLAME", not PAIN as I originally thought.

The only Metallica song that I can think of that is close to what your talking about is the song "One" by Metallica. It starts with the same 8 notes and is repeated over and over by their guitar player. Also, the words pain, brain, and insane are in the chorus at different times throughout the song. You can find this song on their CD....And Justice For All.
