For me it is a sharp stabbing pain where my ovaries are. It hurts badly. But it is just my ligaments stretching to support my growing uterus. I have had it with the last 2 babies and I am already getting it with this one. (I am 13 weeks pregnant!) Good luck. Don't move fast or turn your body weird and you wont get them as bad.

I got round ligament pains in my sides when pregnant both times. Very ache stretchy pains. NOt much you can do about them, warm baths help some, as does tylenol. I had them so bad with my son there were times it hurt just to walk. With my twins I was on bedrest and very lucky because it really helped with the pain too

it's likely you're getting them. I got them early as well. It may feel like you've worked out a bunch and your muscles are sore. Or you may just get a pain in your side/ pelvis. It should go away in a few days, but may come back again later. Don't worry too much about it. If you don't feel comfortable about that, call your Dr. It's not a big deal for them to see you to make sure nothing is wrong. I called my Dr. and she saw me right away, did a quick check of things and told me it was normal. That's what they're there for!

Be thankful if you never get them. They are pains in where your leg meets your hip. Your body is relaxing to give the baby more room to grow and be delivered.

I started getting them at about 20 weeks.
A warm compress tends to help.
