I guess. But sometimes I think jealousy is also a result of not having what you wished you had. Such as... If my brother had the nintendo Wii and I didn't, I would be jealous.
It could also apply to relationships. If your boyfriend was jealous that you spent more time with a guy friend and you only saw him once a month, it might be interpreted as insecurity. But not all the confidence in the world would change the fact that you see him less. That type of jealousy would be understandable.

Interesting question. I think insecurity has a lot to do with it but you maybe the most confident person in the world and still get jealous if your partner is cheating on you.

Yeah cause if your jealous of somthing then you dont have it and you wish you did which makes you think less of yourself cause you care enough to be jealous which makes you insecure.
