I read an article recently saying that 40 percent of women married more than five years had been unfaithful. I can't find a link to it right now.

Infidelity is not unique to men or women. As society has changed, so has infidelity. The normal roles and boundaries that existed for men and women have shifted and the sexes are more equal now than ever before.Much more women are initiating adulterous relationships, infidelity and one night stands. The result is that somewhere between 1/3 and ½ of all marriages that end have experienced infidelity on the part of at least one party.

Women cheat just as much as men; maybe even more. A lot of these women that these men are cheating with are in relationships themselves; and if they're not, a good majority of them know that their "man" is already involved with someone else. Any woman who says she never cheated, is lying to themselves. Cheating is not limited ONLY to sex.

I read somewhere it was pretty close between men and women.
Something like 40% of women and 45% of men.
Seems to me the sexes are more alike than not. Both cheat, but perhaps for different reasons.

I think men and women cheat the same they are both human beings.
Maybe some of us women and men do not cheat but there's few left.

I did in my first marriage...um, twice. I married way too young and was far to immature to understand the real meaning of being married. It's not my proudest accomplishment.
And, I didn't get caught either time.
