what if my period last 2 weeks?

I had a miscarriage late july and in Oct i had my period for 2 weeks and since my period ended i have been have unprotected sex with my husband everyweek. Since he is stationed in VA i dont see him everyday because he is preparing to go on Deployment when should i suspect my next period to come since the last one lasted so long. Or should i think that im pregnant?

TOO add i did go to the hospital about this and they found nothing to be wrong i went on oct 20th

PLEASE go to your doctor/clinic/Ob--whatever!

Tell them what is happening,.. what has happened.

You may have internal damage and you should have gone immedately when your period ended. There is a chance this is going to turn into " You can never have children" so get help immediately,.. NOT ON HERE! We can not physically check you.

HURRY! But do not panic. Start makeing phone calls this minute to get in for help. If you get an idiot that brushes you off or says your fine on the phone or without examineing you,.. get more help. Some women have nasty infections and lose their uterus because they had idiots that didn't do things and brushed things off.

Added: Then there is no telling,.. you may even skip your next period. It is when you have just had a baby that you are most likely to get pregnant again,.. but I am not sure about Miscarriages. I think what I hear the most is that after a Miscarriage someone will get pregnant and have ANOTHER Miscarriage. So I hope you are NOT pregnant right now since your body obviously hasn't recovered. Next encounter try to use as much protection as posible. Your body needs to rest for atleast 18 months after this.

So I guess to your question: Have doctor do test to see if your pregnant. Your likely not pregnant. If you are odds are in favor you will have another miscarriage. You may not have a Period this month because your body is so drained or you may have another heavy or long period.

first, having your period for 2 weeks is not normal, and you should go see a doctor. second, if you had sex during the first two weeks after your period, you most likely won't be pregnant, though it is always possible. you usually ovulate about the a week or so before your period starts, or the 14th day or so on a 28 day cycle (i think that's it). if you think you might be pregnant, you can go to your doctor or do a home pregnancy test (though with irregular periods that could be hard to determine when to take one).
