Not getting enough action in the bedroom (the public eye has taken away his extracurricular activities)! His mind is elsewhere!!
Plus, he is NOWHERE close to having the talent of Jordan.

Wow Dr. Basketball. You aren't much of a doctor are you?
You might remember that Kobe had knee surgery over the summer. This is limiting his explosiveness and quickness , and just sapping a lot of his athleticism. You know, the same athleticism that allows him to use his quick first step and spin off defenders for high flying jams. He hasn't fully recovered, and if you have seen the Lakers play at all, you'll see that he's just playing a smarter game, and is bringing his teammates into the game, especially since his supporting cast has greatly improved, especially Lamar Odom's confidence and versatility, and the emergence of Luke Walton and Andrew Bynum. His scoring may have dipped a bit, but his assists and rebounds, as well as his FG% have all increased significantly. In addition, his scoring is also creeping up with each game. So don't worry, he'll be Mamba 81 again soon.

Well, I don't recall Jordan having arthroscopic surgery on his knee!! Give Kobe some slack man, he's still recovering and trying to get back to his normal self. Plus, he's not sucking right now. Just last night he got about 20 points and 10 assists and the night before he scored 40 points. Right now he's getting more of his teammates involved. Like u said, they're winning. And Kobe is a main reason why the are. Wait till he gets back to full strength, then u'll see that he doesn't suck. Go lakers!!!!!

well for an avid "fan" that you are, you seem to have forgotten that he had surgery on his right knee. that could be why he has taken a little bit to get back into the game, like he said....the rhythm?? with each game he has shown great improvement. he is a great team player, (COUNT THE ASSISTS)NOT a ball hog like some out there....his 3 point shots are among some other great qualities! Kobe does not suck.....he has proven himself over the tens years!!! He is the 'next Jordan".

He's is just more of a team player this year, hes distributing the ball and letting Odom getting involved which lets the triangle offense run more smoothly instead of letting Kobe take every shot. Yes i know last year they made the playoffs with him doing that, but the want to strive for better than that and win a championship

The problem is Kobe isn't one of those players who can carry his whole team on his shoulders every game. The Lakers are (or maybe not so much this year) an awful team if you subtract Kobe and Odom.
