Well your dad masturbating is normal, everyone masturbates.. But I don't get the part about you getting ready to jump in the shower yet he was out there jacking off..
If he asked you if you can produce semen maybe he was asking you if you produce semen so hence you masturbate... But about shaving I dunno...

I wouldn't be worried...kinda weirded out, but not worried. Your dad isnt' going to ask you to help him do it or do it to you, he just wanted to make sure you knew what it was and that it's something a lot of people do in their spare time...it does NOT mean he loves your mother or you any less! If it is still bothering you, then I suggest you talk to your mom and she'll talk to your dad probably and then he'll know what's going on with you and know how to help ease your worries about masturbation. i wish i had something important and helpful to say but this is how all adults start going to therapy try making him feel as much as uncomfortable as you normally that helps a little bring up the masturbation at dinner or something
