I always dressed neatly in a style suitable to the occasion, office gardening, evenings out etc.
The only time I can remember when I might have been "Defined" was when I applied for a volunteer position as a fundraiser for a cancer appeal. Perhaps my outfit was dated but the interviewer said "Perhaps if you have a more modern outfit. We do not want possible donors thinking we may use their money for our own benefit do we ?

It just depends on what I decide to wear on any given day. You know how some people wake up not feeling good so you'll just throw on anything. People would then percieve you as depressed or poor or something of that nature, when you probably just didn't feel like ironing your clothes or you was just running out to the store. Other times I do wear things that describe my personality like baggy but stylish men clothes. People often think oh she's gay and takes the man role in the relationship and I do. So the answer to that question would be yes and no.

Yes, even if they are not the type of clothes you want to wear. For instance, people can look at me and see I am busy losing weight and very conscious of at least what are the totally wrong things to wear, and I also do not wear wild clothes or anything poorly made or overly/underly sized to work, so they can also tell I am sensible and try hard not to offend anyone. I'm sure there are other things that could be seen, but those stick out to me at the moment. So till I lose even more weight, there are certain aspects of my personality that will be more prominent than when I feel like splurging on less sensible but definitely fashionable and flattering clothing.

In some cases they do.
In my case they just tell everybody that I like comfortable clothes and don't like to spend too much money on them.
I despise people who think that "the cloth maketh the man", or woman in my case.

yes they do..unfortunatly u get judged by ppl the second they lay eyes on you.before you have even spoken..it takes a little longer to get to know the real you...so if you have only minutes to make an impression..your clothes are doing the talking for you
