i opened a bag and got a supprise when i bit into one, it was hard as a rock and looks like a piece of choclate thats has a insect in it thats been petrified like a fossil. it chipped one tooth and split another, should m&m's be responsible for any medical bills, how should i handle it?

Write the Mars Company and explain the situation. Retain copies of your medical bills. I'm sure that they would be willing to settle for your dental costs.

THAT is what I'd like to see... rather than some foolish lawsuit seeking damages.

Something similar happened to my mom with a different company...

What she did is...

Contacted that company, they made a settlement with her to pay her medical bills (root canal and crown) and anything related for the next 5 years.

Ask them for what you want, and see if they'll settle with you. If not you can sue.

IMPORTANT: Keep the M&M you bit. If you don't have it, you're screwed. If they ask you to mail it to them (as happened to my mom), take pictures of it.
