every time i ask my mom about my reall dad she changes the subject or says none of your buisness but i want to do research to find out about him and my heritage but she wont tell me his name need help i have access to the internet ....obviously..... but i cant pay anything to find out so can you help

this is what i'd do
bring up you father
then shes gonna say i don't wanta talk about it blah blah blah
then say how long do you expect me to believe that the stork dropped me off on your door step

You should ask her why do you get of the subject when i ask you about my real dad and say mom i do not want to grow up and not no my father and i don't want to have kids and they not know who there really grandfather is and say i'm old a naff to find out who he is because i dont want my boyfriend to come over and we talk and tell each other our secrets and you tell him you don't know who your father is and get your friend and boyfriend to help you find out something about him ask some of your mom friends about him and ask your stepdad and other people and your grandmother!

You need to sit your mom down when you're eating dinner or something and look her staight in the eye and say,"Mom, tell me about my real dad." and if that doesn't work you need to add in that she'll have to tell you about him someday, so she might as well tell you now.

you can go to the government place called 'Birth, Deaths and marriages' to get a copy of your birth cerf and maybe your real dads name is on it. this is only if your mother Will not let you look at your birth cerf. Then with his name you can do a search on the net for him.

maybe ur real father was a really bad guy
and ur mom is only doing it for the best
ur mom should tell u the truth about him tho.. she doesnt know how u feel.. just talk to her

Maybe HE doesn't WANT you to find out about him and your mother is complying with his wishes. BTW, if your mother is married and her husband is the one who has raised you and supported you financially and emotionally the HE is your REAL father, the other guy is just your birth father or in some cases "sperm donor". (and I don't mean invitro)

try to make her understand that you love her and no matter who your dad is you dont care you just want to no where you came from. if that dosent work try get a family friend to talk to her about him. and see what they pull up because there could be a good reason why ok huni

Tell her you need a copy of your birth certificate. Usally the fathers name is on there.

If you know his name try looking on the electrol roll at 192.com, hopefully his adress might appear on there thats how i got intouch with my real family. good luck

tell her that you need to make a family tree or something and that you need to know your father's name and some members of his family.
that way you can find out about your dad and his family.
