My husband and I recently divorced, I want to know if I can receive benefits from his Social Securtiy?

For the years you were married the answer is yes. You also are entitled to one-half of any pension earned for those years. Talk to your attorney and get in touch with the Social Security Administration office near you.

With a good enough attorney you can get your hands on whatever you want!!! His SS benefits are not off limits unless your divorce is already final.

no because once you have divorced him u can't use his name any more
