Israel is a terrorist state and the US are supporting them because they have an interest in keeping the region unstable, also because public opinion in the US is mainly geared towards supporting Israel against its Arab neighbours. There is a good deal of hidden racism there, Israel is seen as "one of us" against those non-Christian barbarians.
Unless the US public start demanding a change in politics, the slaughter of civilians and the total disregard for the rights of the Palestinians will go on.
In Europe there is already a visible swing away from that, and I hope it will spread over the Atlantic.

Nerdo, how appropriate can a name be! You must have gotten your facts from a box of cracker jack, that's how credible your accusations about Israel really are!
Let's start with the women and children thing. Do you realize they strap on suicide belts, too. That makes them fair game. Enough said about that.
Israel is a tiny, but powerful country, so you're totally wrong by saying it has a huge army because it doesn't have a huge army, just an efficient army.
Israel is not at war with Egypt and Jordan, and Syria can get all the weapons it needs from their good buddy's, the Persians.
Frankly, I don't believe we support Israel enough! I believe we should have been right with them bombing the piss out of Hezbollah. We owe those scum suckers from way back, and it's time we had payback!

Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.
There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass.
But even that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today. Greed. Pride. Envy. Covetousness. No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough.
"It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria."
- Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, to the UN Security Council.
In the words of the late military commander of the PLO as well as member of the PLO Executive Council, Zuhair Muhsin:
"There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity....yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel."

That stuff about using equal force is for the UN. The U.S. obviously doesn't care about tactics or excessive force or killing civilians. We support Israel militarily because we support them and want them to win, it doesn't have anything to do with keeping things "fair". And they're still killing innocent people... apparently we've decided that suspecting that a terrorist might be in an apartment complex is reason enough to bomb it and kill everyone inside. This is the terrorists' fault, of course, because they're "hiding behind civilians". Currently the idea of who is or is not a terrorist isn't based on the death toll, the equipment used, or the civilians killed, it's pretty much based on whose side you're on, and this won't work, we have to look at it from the objective standpoint of working within legal limits. israel is making a mistake in the longrun by failing to discriminate between civilian and enemy targets... everyone on the other side thinks israel are terrorists, everyone on "our" side thinks their enemies are terrorists, and this is practically irreconcilable... when both sides dehumanize their enemies this way a war will never end until every person in one nation is completely destroyed by the survivors of the other nation. but I'm hoping this mentality will burn itself out in the end. we'll see.

You are concerned about Israel's actions in the middle east but not the actions of those murdering Muslims? Aren't you aware that the Muslim faith by decree in the Quran will be on the offensive against Jews and Christians. The Quran states that Jews and Christians are not the kind of people that a Muslim should associate with. If they will not convert then they should be killed. The Muslim religion is evil and everyone should be aware of it. Read the Quran's 26 chapters on Jihad and then tell me who is right in the middle east. The people of Israel or the Arabs?

actually the United States provides military assistance to Egypt. And why would we provide it to Syria when they openly call America the enemy???
as for Lebanon Israel was attacking a terrorist group. Naturally Innocent people did die, but that was never the goal unlike when rockets are launched at Israel.
