It seems that everyone has forgotten that even Jesse Jackson mad e a mistake by showing HIS OWN bigotry when he called New York "Hymie Town" in reference to the huge Jewish population awhile back. I didn't hear him say in light of his bigoted remark people should boycott donations to his Rainbow Coalition or OPERATION PUSH. It seems The "REV" is talking out both sides of his mouth when it comes to bigotry .

personally i am sick to death of all this racist stuff. i dont think the "N" word bothers blacks or they wouldnt use it in their lyrics or in conversation with their own race. who cares what michael richards says anyway? didnt he go through enough torture and humiliation while onstage and tanking? if jesse jackson didnt travel the world picking out people that he thought were shitting on the blacks he wouldnt have anything to do. he makes me sick.

No, I will not be boycotting the Season 7 Seinfeld DVD set. In fact, I may buy two sets. Why would anyone listen to a hypocritical, bigoted, self-proclaimed minister like Jesse Jackson? He's nothing but a greedy and corrupt scam artist who is always on the prowl for an opportunity for personal gain. He exploits his own people and is guilty of repeatedly setting back race relations in the United States

Good call on his "Hymie Town" remark. Many people have forgotten about that, along with his admission of spitting in white people's food when he was a young restaurant worker, and more recently the exposé on his pregnant mistress. Wow, way to go, Rev! What better man to pass judgment on Michael Richards.

You don't know.....any one race can say whatever they want to whites...but whites can't make one mistake... ever....ever....they can't say anything...
It's really weird..but when I was young...I was never prejudiced...my mother always told me not to be.....I could not understand why people did not like blacks....I thought it was so stupid to hate because of race or color....
I saw the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird", when I was 11. I thought, how could people be so mean..to arrest an innocent man to let the evil guilty one go free....I didn't care that the guilty one was "white"; he was the one that was guilty, he should have been punished....it was so sad to see that poor, good, black man take the blame.
It seems something is becoming lost in our generation now.....It seems like all "whites are being punished for the deeds of the "evil white" of long ago, and I know most people aren't prejudiced. Why can't we all wake up and realize all this talk about racist is so ridiculous...
Actions are what make people mad, what they do, not the person themselves..
And Yes I still would buy the Seinfeld DVD....Jesse Jackson is such a hypocrite, I couln't care less what he has to say.

Michael Richards was wrong, wrong, wrong. I agree there is a double standard. There are black comedians/personalities that say things about whites all the time and you never see any outrage about that. ALL insults against another group should be considered wrong. Seinfeld had nothing to do with this( or the others), why punish them. Finally, is there really anyone that takes anything Jesse Jackson says seriously anymore??

If Michael Richards was the only one getting paid for the DVD, then yes I would. Now the Rainbow Coalition and OPERATION PUSH does not benefit Jesse Jackson in any way, but if he were to get PAID for it I would boycott that as well. It doesn't seem fair to cut everyone else out for stupid remarks.

I wouldn't consider Jesse a Rev. No it wont cause me to boycott the DVD. I believe this was a set up, the black guys were calling Richards a white cracker, where is the out rage over that? I think the whole bunch of the attention grabbers need to grow up.

Although I am not purchasing Seinfeld because Mr. Jackson says so I will not purchase anything or watch anything relating to Seinfeld because it insults my intelligence and the person I am to watch someone who has expressed such deep fueled racism parade around set. Being black I also do not watch anything that stereotypes other ethnic groups (whites included). There is no license to say that blacks use the N-word toward each other so what are they so mad for. The fact is that what many people see and buy in Hip Hop in other channels is NOT a representation of my culture. It is a cheap counterfeit which makes record companies and their owners rich. My mixed heritage is something that I cherish and I love myself too much to watch a man or anyone else insult myself or the stuggle of African Americans in America.

I would never boycott the Seinfeld DVD sets, but I won't buy them because they're always syndicated on TV. It's just a waste of money.

i might buy the DVD just for spite because I'm so sick of all the crap being said about it.
It's all so pathetic. Who cares if he called a n*ggar a n*ggar!?! I get called a fat ***** now and again too, you don't see me boo-hoo-ing over it. All people are entitled to say whatever they wish rather it's right or wrong. And believe it or not, there are worse things that a person could be besides a "racist" like a mass murderer or a child molester. People need to get over it!!!
