I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties. What you are experiencing s a common side effect from having the implant.

I would recommend two things:

1. Learn Natural Family Planning. NFP is as effective as the pill, injections and implants, it has no side effects and is immediately reversible. Also by charting your cycles you can tell when you are ovulating if you want to get pregnant) and you can tell when you are going to get your period. I took a home study course with the Couple to Couple League which was excellent. You can learn the basics of charting online with FertilityFriend.com. If you are married then the charity LIFE UK runs a fertility awareness programme that you would be eligible for.

2. Get hold of a copy of 'Fertility, Cycles and Nutrition' by Marilyn Shannon. You may find that there are some small changes in your diet that can be made or a supplement that can be taken that will help you. Book is available from www.ccli.org/store

I hope that this help you.

I have an implant too, and the same problems. It's nothing to be concerned about. It doesn't settle down, I'm on my 3rd implant.
