I like Popular music, and R&B.....My favorite artist of all time is Mariah Carey.....I am her #1 fan!

More and more i like idie rock.
However, classic rock is..well...classic.
I love all music, really, aside from a few genres... for the most part I dislike country and nearly hate rap. Very little of these are pleasing to me. I really fell in love with the music of Elliott Smith. From there i began listening to more and more indie rock. Of course, even within this genre the music can vary greatly, however, for the most part, I've found that it's good music, and sometimes you stumble across a real gem. Alternative adult and rock is great too. Sadly, though, the mere popularity of some of it sticks it in with the category of music known to the teeny bopping world.
Music is good.

I am for classical like Beethoven and others.The soothing tones of the classical help to calm you down and transport you to another world where peace reigns.
I have nothing against the Rock but may be on account of my frayed nerves it sounds so much like just noise and bluster to me.

There is not a person on this planet who can answer that question correctly. It's all about taste and the persons personality, and a whole heap of other traits that a person might have. Me, I like whatever sounds good to me.
