Not really.

I never know when there's a stop sign until i've blasted past it and take a second to look in the rearview. And by the time i do that, i can't even see the stop sign. So i wouldn't know there was one.

I always recognize it.... and I try.. but something new will inevitably come up and pull me right back in again. It's made me realize the difference between running.... quitting..... hiding and admitting defeat. (as opposed to "the feet" *wink*) I've experienced all. I've run, quit, hidden and experienced defeat. But I came back.... restarted.... came out of hiding and rose above the big dark hole that defeated me.

Ok I'm rambling.....

.... but what I'm trying to say is. The "right time" to quit really doesn't exist. There may be a "moment" where it seems like the answer. And at the time it will so feel like that is the answer. But in the long run.....when the fog has cleared...... it may not always be the case.

So given that logic...... perhaps none of us are able to truly recognize.... "the right time."

Don't quit.

My right time to quit is now. My brain is mush which should tell me it is high time, but I need to hang in there another year or so.
I recognize it but I can't do it. Which I think most of us are in this position.
Of course you could mean a job, a relationship, almost anything.

Apparently not. Whenever I am in a contest to see how long I can hold my breath, I inexplicably find myself laying on the floor. Do you think that this is due to my love of Grape Nuts and Vanilla Bean Yogurt?

Sure. I think so . Depends on what I'm quitting. I quit drinking when I think I'm getting funny. Does that count?

when you feel like your life is in danger you need to quit. if something or someone is holding you back you need to quit. If you think about a mind altering drug everyday you might consider to quit i think it is too hard to say weather you are going too quit though

I like to go out on a high note, so to speak. But that doesn't mean you can rejoin the fun in an all new way.

It's easy to know when to quit. Harder to do the actual quitting.
