I am from the Eastern part of Texas and I was raised to be an Aggie fan....my dad went to Texas A&M...my aunt and uncle.....my grandpa taught history there.....I watched games from Kyle field.....my step mom graduated from Brian High School....my cousin went to Brian Community College and his wife graduated from Texas A&M.....But since I joined the military and have not lived in Texas since the year 2000...... I have just been a fan of Texas in particular....the Dallas Cowboys....the Houston Texans.....I love Aggie-land....but (don't tell my family) I have a Longhorns Sweatshirt and a teeshirt that I work out in.....I just support Texas all the way since I miss it so much and want to stay true to my roots.....I also work out in an LSU tee shirt....I cheered like hell when UT beat USC in the cahmpionship football game....but the other night I was acutally giddy when Texas A&M finally beat the Longhorns after such a long dry spell. It used to be such a huge deal...with the UT, A&M rivalry....but now, I am just like....GO TEXAS anything! Both are great schools, located in a great state! I also like those bumper stickers that I see when I go back home.....when parents have a sibling/niece/nephew/grandchild going to both schools....it says "Sibling Rivalry" and has both the UT and A&M decals...so cute.

Aggie, class of 1993.

It's very cyclical. When I was there, the streak we had going was i think 6 out of 7 wins before A&M started to head downhill around 94-95. UT started it's upswing, and got its championship. A&M at times seems to be on the verge of being a good team, but they just can't get it done in big games against ranked opponents (esp non-ex SWC teams) when they need to.

I wish it could have been a cleaner win though. That hit shouldn't have happened.

whats up all NFL starters are stars in college or a minimum of on their crew. The Longhorns have some. The Texans were given Demeco Ryans, Andre Johnson, and Mario Williams. to boot they don't seem even the wonderful of their convention and branch. i imagine of OU has that proper.

Sounds like your trying to get new slang words started to describe male and females. Longhorns and aggie... I would prefer to be called a male.
