i found this old desktop. i could tell it was a "homeade" computer to begin with. but who ever left it behind wanted to be smart and dissamble all the wires from the mother board so i went ahead and took everything out of the tower unit. now i have all the parts out. i think i have everything but im not sure i could send you pictures if you can help. but what im looking for is a diagram or something to tell me where everything goes into the motherboard. i know quite a bit abit about computers but not that much! please help me if you can!!! email me @ zsweet36

Try to find the name and model of the motherboard. It is often printed somewhere on the side of the board. Then use a search engine to find the manufacturer's website. Most motherboards will have their user manuals online in pdf form. The manual will show you what everything is for and where to put each component and wire.
